With the launch of our March 2021 collection of ‘DIGI’ Microscopes, things have truly come full circle, combining the very best of what we’ve learned through the years. This system offers the perfect balance of optical quality, a high resolution image, user-friendliness and convenience, whilst remaining within an accessible price bracket.
- two new upright biological DIGI versions featuring our UltraBIO-5 and the Leica DM500 microscopes: the UB5-DIGI and the DM500-DIGI. Designed for student use, these microscopes present a compact solution with clever features such as a cord wrap and carry handle, energy saving auto-power off functionality (on the UB5-DIGI) and a simple, user-friendly design that removes any fuss from setting up the microscope. In addition to these features, we’ve taken convenience to another level and added a high-spec Sony chip camera and 300x200mm HDMI display screen to provide all-in-one package for each model.
- the XPL5-DIGI Polarising Microscope, based on our popular XPLPOLTEC-5 microscope – another microscope that has been designed to withstand daily student use. This sturdy workhorse is a beautiful looking instrument with a small footprint and offers a perfect balance of functionality x simplicity, making it ideal for a wide variety of applications from teaching and industry to hobbyists. With the addition of a display screen making this a stand-alone system, this new DIGI model provides ultimate convenience and a space-saving solution for busy worktops (no PC required).
