The GXCAM FluoMax microscope camera has a cooled 8MP sensor which has very high sensitivity, wide dynamic range and very good colour reproduction. The cooling reduces the thermal noise in the sensor giving clean and clear images of low light samples. It is particularly recommended for low light applications such as fluorescence.

GXCAM FluoMax Cooled Microscope Camera

Highly sensitive cooled colour CMOS camera, ideal for fluorescence and other light limited applications. The high spec Sony 8MP sensor produces highly detailed images

The FluoMax has a two stage peltier cooler, that cools the camera’s sensor to -20°C, reducing thermal noise to give a clean and clear image of the sample.

The camera connects to a PC running the comprehensive GX Capture-T software. This allows the user to optimise and capture images, take measurements and add annotations. It also has a range of other features including High Dynamic Range, Extended Depth of Focus, Flat Field Correction and many others.
