The ultraDIGI digital microscopes are simply the best digital microscopes that we have ever seen. The images are just as good as from microscopes costing ten times as much.

The ultraDIGI range of digital microscopes use patented ‘straight to camera sensor’ technology which produces stunningly good optical quality images. Most conventional microscopes need to use a range of optics to get the image from the microscope to the camera sensor- these can degrade the image quality. The ultraDIGI microscopes do not have these intermediate optics, so the image is focussed directly onto the camera’s sensor. This means that none of the optical data is lost and virtually all of it reaches the camera, leading to the excellent quality of the displayed images.

The ultraDIGI range offers:-

• • Wide field of view 1x and 2x objectives (options). The optics of the microscope have been specifically designed for these low power objectives, so there is no vignetting, which is often seen on conventional microscopes using these low power objectives
• • Transmitted and reflected illumination for all types of samples
• • The fluorescence illumination (only on some models) works with all objectives, even the low power ones, so is very useful for work on Zebrafish and similar samples.
• • Ease of use– all the features of the microscope can be controlled by the front control panel

GXM UltraDIGI-SBF5 Biological, Fluorescence & Low Magnification Stereo Equivalent 5MP Digital Microscope with built in PC

The UltraDIGI-SBF5  is a high definition digital microscope with transmitted and reflected LED illumination and a fluorescence illuminator. This provides great versatility of viewing a range of samples. The image is shown on a high definition display. The microscope can take still or video images of the samples, and can provide measurements of them. It is equipped with wide field eyepieces and infinity plan achromat objectives giving a clear image.

The microscope has a built-in PC which provides some excellent extra functionality.

Fluorescent, Biological and Stereomicroscope

The UltraDIGI-SBF5 is suitable for standard biological samples, fluorescence samples and stereomicroscope samples. It is suited to research work in biology, cytology, genetics, immunology and other fields.

Three models are available- choose from UV, Blue or Green excitation.

High Definition Display and Precise Measurements

The microscope has a built in 10.1″ 1920 x 1200 high definition display and supports capturing videos at 1080p and 30 fps. It is also equipped with software to measure samples quickly and accurately.

Easy to Use Key Pad

All the features of the microscope are selectable with the easy to use front control panel. This means that the various features are ergonomically available with some simple key presses.

Multi-Functional Interfaces

The base has connectors for USB, VGA, HDMl, audio input and output, Ethernet and other interfaces to offer a large range of ways of interacting with the microscope

External Sensors

A number of external sensors can be connected to the microscope via the USB ports so more complex experiments can be easily performed. These sensors include CO2, O2, temperature, humidity, current and light intensity.

Carrying Handle

The microscope is equipped with an ergonomic carrying handle, so it is easy to transport from one location to another
