- Fluorescence filters featuring zero pixel shift technology
- Five-position fluorescence filter cube holder for fluorescence imaging
- Choose from a wide selection of high-performance objectives, from Leica’s HI PLAN plan achromat objectives up to plan apochromat objectives for superior imaging quality
- Bright 30W halogen illumination or LED illumination for a heat-free, energy efficient alternative
Considered ergonomic features
Ergonomic adjustments to suit each individual user’s needs, including:
- The focus knobs and stage controls are positioned in line with each other for user comfort
- Height adjustable focus knobs
- Variable angle tilting head (fixed angle head also available)
Advanced fluorescence imaging capabilities
Experience zero pixel shift with Leica’s unique fluorescence filter cubes and hold up to five filter cubes at one time for improved efficiency.
LED or bright 30W halogen lamp
The Leica DM2000 biological microscope has a choice of either a bright 30W halogen lamp or LED illumination to suit the user’s preference. LED provides an energy-efficient, alternative to halogen and its long life removes the need to change bulbs frequently. LED is also a cold light source, therefore eliminating any unintentional heating of the sample.
Camera attachment/image analysis
