Description

Leica Ivesta 3 Binocular Stereo Microscope on Tall Pillar Stand

The Leica Ivesta 3 stereo microscope is designed for routine and research applications where efficient use of the microscope is paramount. The microscopes have a large field of view, FusionOptics and a large working distance so it is quick and easy to find the points of interest in your samples and to work comfortably on them. These microscopes offer a high magnification of up to 55x and a large 9:1 zoom range. This makes the workflow more efficient as this limits the number of microscope adjustments and enables the user to inspect parts of the sample more quickly.

Thanks to the parfocal system with simultaneously large working distances and object fields, you can always view your microscopic specimens accurately – from the complete image to the finest detail.

FusionOptics technology

The FusionOptics technology from Leica offers a combination of a large depth of field and a high resolution.

Image simulation showing a printed circuit board sample without and with the FusionOptics effect, perceived when looking through the eyepieces

Conventional stereo microscopes have two identical beam paths that reveal a spatial impression of the sample. FusionOptics technology takes advantage of a neurological phenomenon: the microscope’s left beam path shows an image with great depth of field, while the right beam path shows an image with high resolution. The human brain then effortlessly combines the information from both channels into one image. This results in an image perception with high resolution and a great depth of field at the same time – an unparalleled Leica standard in stereo microscopy.

Maximum working distance for maximum speed

Sample inspection and manipulation under the microscope can be conveniently performed thanks to the 122 mm working distance of all Ivesta 3 stereo microscopes. Enjoy working with more space for your tools under the microscope lens – sometimes every mm counts. Operators can access the sample with ease when using standardised tweezers or other manipulation tools.

Leica Ivesta 3 stereo microscope features

  • 12 mm depth of field and FusionOptics technology for a natural viewing perception and fast results
  • 6.1x-55x magnification and a 9:1 zoom range for quick changes from overview to details
  • 122 mm working distance for convenient and ergonomic manipulations under the microscope
  • Click-stops to work with reproducible zoom settings
  • Apochromatically corrected optics to reduce colour fringes

The price for the Leica Ivesta 3 stereo microscope includes an extra year’s extended warranty. This now provides a full two years’ warranty for the microscope.
