An excellent digital biological microscope package- ideal for teaching, displays or presentations.

The system comprises an ultraBIO-5 biological microscope with a high resolution display camera.

An excellent value microscope for university teaching laboratories and routine use. This feature laden microscope has, as standard, auto power off, an enclosed safety stage and good quality optical and mechanical performance. This microscope is backed by a comprehensive life time warranty, as long as it is serviced annually by GT Vision’s dedicated service team.

The ultraBIO-5 microscope represents a new generation of affordable but advanced instruments with the latest optical design and advanced build quality incorporating all the features you would expect to find in much more expensive digital biological microscopes.

This model has a quadruple nosepiece with 4x, 10x, 40x and 100x oil objectives.

Featuring a widefield image (with 20mm FOV eyepieces), an ultra-modern design rackless stage, automatic power-off with activity detection, graduated Abbe condenser with fixed Köhler illumination and an ergonomic and easy to carry stand with a variety of options as standard. Backed by a comprehensive technical and service support , the ultraBIO-5 sets a new standard for optical design, performance and affordability.

The display camera has a built in 300 x 200 mm HDMI display screen with a 2MP camera. The camera has a high-spec Sony sensor which offers good resolution with excellent colour reproduction. Each camera includes embedded imaging software which is accessed via a wired controller and on-screen menus. Images and videos can be stored to the SD card slot.

The package also includes a c-mount adapter to attach the camera to the microscope.

Overall the ultraBIO-5 digital biological microscope would make an excellent system for teaching microscopy.
