The GX Microscopes ultraBIO-3 series of compound microscopes are GX Microscopes’ best value for money biological microscopes.  They are enormously popular in education, medicine and among hobbyists giving outstanding image quality for this level of instrument.

The ultraBIO-3 biological microscope is designed for users who are looking for a good quality and good value microscope on a lower budget, offering very good image quality with a robust all metal body and quality glass optics.

Features of the ultraBIO-3 biological microscope:-

• Supplied with four, good quality, achromatic glass objectives in RMS threaded steel barrels: 4x, 10x, 40x and 100x oil
• The above lenses provide a maximum magnification of 2000x (when combined with the optional 20x eyepieces) and a magnification range of 40x-1000x (or 2000x with the 20x eyepieces).
• Mains powered. A rechargeable battery version for ultimate portability is also available (see here).
• For users who want to take images of their samples, an ultraBIO-3 with a trinocular head/camera port is available (see the drop-down options above the price). This makes it quick and easy to attach a microscope camera.
