Ultramacro Quality Microscope Objective Direct Connection Tube Kit

This Raynox extension DCR150 tube kit and appropriate thread adapters to allow you to attach most types of microscope objectives direct to your camera’s bayonet mount.  This handy kit gives you a great deal of flexibility.  Extra tubes may be required depending on the optical tube length printed on your microscope objective (eg 160mm).

This package contain products as below :

1, Camera bayonet to M42 mount – this is camera specific please select from the list (click on ‘Features’ Tab to make your selection and advise us at the time of ordering)

2, Three  M42 extension tubes.  Each tube is about 5 cm long. If you need one more please see: extension tube

3, Raynox DCR 150 with reversed adapter

4, M42 to RMS  adapter or M42 to M26 .Please choose the thread type according to your objective lens (click on the ‘Features’ tab to make your selection and advise us at the time of ordering)

5, One piece of photo-black lining tape （about 15cm*25cm ,approximate）Cut and Stick or just put  the black velvet inside the M42 tube to reduce the internal light reflection in the lens and improves the contrast of the picture.

6, The height of Sony E mount is 26.6mm.

The objective lens in the pictures is not included.

For the best image quality it is better to set the Raynox lens to focus to infinity.

The focus infinite distance from Raynox DCR 150 to camera sensor is 204 mm.The focus  infinite distance from Raynox DCR 250 to camera sensor is 118 mm.(approximate)

The best M42 extension tube length =

Raynox  focus  infinite distance (such as 204 mm or 118 mm)  –  Flange_focal_distance

For Example:

if your camera is Canon 5D2,and you use raynox DCR 150 reversed as the tube lens, the best length of the extension tube = 204mm – 44mm = 160 mm.

Raynox DCR 150 is in the reversed position.
