On leaving school Neil attended Merton College in Morden studying Motorcycle mechanics (a course sponsored by a number of branded motorcycle manufactures).
Neil then earned a 4 year Apprenticeship with a Suffolk based engineering company, becoming a qualified Mechanical Engineer, Fitter, Welder, Machinist.
Neil was asked to join a Suffolk based Automotive engineering company named PACE Products. This business owned by an Ex Lotus F1 mechanic. Over a 25 year period the company grew from 2 members of staff to over 40, growing the business into a globally recognised supplier of specialised automotive equipment, Neil personally training and mentoring many enthusiastic young men and women to machine, weld, fabricate, assemble/build/install; working with the likes of Lotus, Aston Martin, Jaguar, Ford, many of the most revered Touring car, La Man, GT, Single seater, Ice racing, Rally car, Drag car/motorcycle, GP motorcycle, classic and pre-war car race teams; amongst other similar projects working with JCB on their Diesel Max land speed record car. Responsible for designing, prototyping, creating, manufacturing and supplying specialised parts from a comprehensively equipped purpose-built factory.
A change of career came when Neil was invited to join GT Vision Ltd back in 2010 in the early days of their expansion, increasing product level and supplier base along with creating and maintaining the Service and Support side to the business; Neil bringing a wealth of experience at industry level, a keen eye for detail, combined with a strong unwavering work ethic.
