Meet the Team

Dr James Hussey joined GT Vision in May 2024 as Territory Manager for the North of the UK. Before joining GT Vision, he worked with Evident (formerly Olympus) supporting life science customers across the region. James holds a PhD from the University of Hull in the synthesis and characterisation of novel photochromic liquid crystals. He also spent time at Pfizer, where he was Lead Formulator for two APIs and successfully secured FDA approval for a liquid crystal phenomenon within a formulation—a first in this field.

Drawing on his scientific background and experience, James works closely with customers to understand their applications and recommend the most suitable microscopy solutions. Click here to contact James

Originally from Los Angeles, Ruby relocated to England and has spent her career in sales and customer-facing roles, building strong relationships and helping customers find solutions that meet their specific needs. With previous experience working with Evident (formerly Olympus), she has developed a solid foundation in microscopy and a good understanding of the diverse applications and industries it supports.

Brad joined GT Vision in January 2025 as a Service Engineer, bringing together practical electrical experience with a degree in Computer Science from Northumbria University. His combined knowledge of electrical systems and software gives him a strong foundation for servicing, troubleshooting and supporting a wide range of microscopy equipment.

Brad provides servicing, repairs and installations, helping ensure customers' microscopes continue to perform reliably. He is committed to providing friendly, responsive support and enjoys helping customers keep their equipment operating at its best. Click here to contact Brad

Trevor joined GT Vision in January 2026. He has a wealth of experience dealing with customers and managing, motivating and developing teams. He has many years of sales experience where he was a successful sales rep and sales manager.

After starting her career in publishing, Jessica took time
out to raise her four children before returning to work as a medical
proofreader. In a change of direction, she joined the GT Vision admin
team and is enjoying the variety that each day brings. When she’s not at work,
you’ll usually find her walking her two spoiled dogs or (when she can squeeze
it in) playing padel. She’s excited to be a part of the GT Vision team and is
looking forward to the journey ahead.
