This microscope is a teaching and amateur grade, trinocular, transmitted light illuminated, polarising microscope suitable for observing polarasable materials such as geological thin sections.

This microscope has a trinocular head, a pair 10x eyepieces with a crosshair, 4 achromatic objectives 4x, 10x, 20x, 40x (optional 60x and 100x oil objectives), a rotating, centerable stage, a retractable analyser in the head, rotatable polariser,  adjustable LED transmitted light,  Abbe condenser, and coarse/fine focus with adjustable tension and limit stopper

The JPL-1350T is equipped with a smooth, rotating, graduated stage and a set of polarisers that allow observation of all types of transmitted light polarised specimens such as thin sections of minerals, polymers, crystals and particulates. It is equipped with a comfortable viewing, adjustable trinocular head. The analyser mounted in the head is retractable and the polariser is mounted over the collector near the lamp and is rotatable though 360°.

This model, is part of GX Microscope’s new range of polarising microscopes, it is affordable by amateur microscopists, schools and colleges.
