This page is for GT Vision Ltd customers who have purchased a GXCAM camera from us and wish to update their camera software.

Please be aware – this software, if installed for use on any non-GXCAM brand of camera, may delete all previous drivers and software and will not be compatible with the camera and may render your product unusable.  Please only download this product if you are sure that you have a genuine GXCAM product from GT Vision Ltd.

The GXCapture programme automatically locates a GXCAM camera in order to be used, until it does so it will have no functionailty.

To download the software – please first check the version of the software currently installed, then find the model of your GXCAM camera in the list, then, for most cameras, icheck that the serial number (found on your camera) has the correct prefix or that the date purchased is valid. Finally check that you have the correct operating system.

To Install the software – please read the Quick Start Guide or Manual before you plug in the camera.

Installing the incorrect driver and GXCapture version may have unpredictable results.  GT Vision Ltd can accept no liability for incorrect driver installation and failures due to the capabilities of your computer system (eg driver clashes with webcams, wrong operating system etc).

Customer Support – if you have any difficulties you can contact our support team, customers with cameras purchased from GT Vision Ltd within the previous 6 months will benefit from free email support.  Customers who have purchased current ‘camera product support warranty’ will not be charged.  Other users may be charged at the prevailing support rates.   We are sorry but we are not equipped to provide support to Mac Users.

Many of these files are in .zip format, you will need an ‘unzip’ utility program to use them.
