C-mount adapters are the most common microscope camera adapters, as they are a practical choice for capturing microscope images, accounting for over 98% of all microscope cameras. A c-mount is a 25.4mm (1-inch) threaded fitting, with adapters available to suit specific microscope models or standard 23.2mm eyepiece tubes, plus sleeves for 30–31.75mm sizes.
