Gemmological Microscope Stand with LED Spot Light Illumination
This is a specially designed stereo microscope stand for jewellers. The illumination is designed to illuminate both the surface and the interior of a gem to help spot cracks, occlusions, or any other kinds of imperfections. These stands have two illumination sources- transmitted brightfield/ darkfield illumination and a top light for direct viewing. In this model the top light is an LED spot light.
The stand also includes a clamp object holder for securely holding the gem stone.
This stand will fit the excellent Leica Ivesta 3 stereo microscope, which is widely used by jewellers because of its excellent optical quality, high resolution and large depth of field.
