CoolLED illumination systems- advanced fluorescence illumination

CoolLED introduced the first commercially available LED illumination system in 2006 and since then have led the way in developing LED illuminators for fluorescence microscopy. The rationale behind the development of these systems is to provide the user with a high tech, good value and
ecologically sound illuminator that will easily integrate into a wide range of
microscopes. 

The LEDs in the CoolLED illuminators have long life and low running costs, so are more environmentally sound that the traditional mercury vapour based illuminators.
