Comparison Microscopes

Comparison microscopes are used mainly in the forensics field for comparing two objects such as cartridges or tool marks.  There are two principle types, one offer ‘macro-scale’ imaging for lower magnification examination of bullet cases, firing pin marks etc.  The other is for higher magnifications for the comparison of paint flakes and other materials.
