Offering exceptional value, the XTX-1C fixed magnification stereo microscope is the perfect starter microscope for hobbyists, students and inquisitive children.

Ideal for getting a closer look at objects of interest, this stereo microscope can be used to view samples such as entomological collections, pond dipping samples, microfossils, rocks, plant material, etc. The simplicity of design and robustness of build makes it particularly suitable for use by the young enthusiast and in schools and colleges. It’s also a useful tool for crafts and hobbies where extra magnification is needed.

The XTX-1C fixed magnification stereo microscope by GX Microscopes features high quality glass optics with a pair of 10x eyepieces and 2x objective lens that provide a combined magnification of 20x. The sample is lit from above or below by built-in LED illumination, providing a heat-free light source.

Every microscope is equipped with a pair of objectives mounted in a removable, rectangular objective cartridge and a pair of wide-field eyepieces.

Features:

  • 20x magnification (expandable up to 120x with additional accessories – see the accessories tab)
  • The binocular head is mounted on the focus mechanism which, in turn is mounted on a vertical pillar. The head can be moved up the pillar to accommodate larger specimens.
  • The head has interpupillary distance adjustment and the left eyepiece has diopter adjustment. This makes the microscope suitable for prolonged use without undue eyestrain.
  • A highly popular choice for schools, colleges & amateurs.
  • Eyepieces: pair of 10X widefield eyepieces
  • 2X objective lens with 80mm working distance
