The SL-ZW1 is not your ordinary articulated USB powered light. The SL-ZW1 is a polarized USB powered LED light that can be used with polarized Dino-Lite models. The polariser can be rotated to  adjust the amount of polarized illumination required for the right image. To take advantage of the polarizing light, the accessory is best to be used with Dino-Lite models that have the polarization ability such as the AM4113ZT, AM4113ZTL or the AD4113ZT.
