Upgrade of GRS Acrobat Versa Stand ® for a range of stereo microscope heads
Simple upgrade of the GRS Acrobat Versa® Stand with a 76mm focus ring. This will allow stereo microscopes such as the Leica Ivesta 3 to be used with the GRS Acrobat Versa stand. The Leica Ivesta 3 is widely used by jewellers who want a stereo microscope with excellent optical quality, a large working distance and a large depth of field. The Ivesta 3 is available with a camera port, so will easily allow the addition of a microscope camera. This will enable customers to see the quality of the items they are interested in, and can also be used for training purposes.
The GRS Acrobat Versa® stand is commonly used by jewellers as it provides a robust and versatile way of positioning the microscope over the piece of jewellery being worked on. This stand is designed to accommodate stereo microscopes such as the Leica A60 and Meiji EMZ-5. These are both excellent microscopes, but often jewellers would like to use alternative models, such as the Leica Ivesta 3.
This simple upgrade easily fits into the GRS Acrobat Versa® stand and the new stereo microscope head is then just installed into the focus ring.
Please note that this will not work with the GRS Acrobat Classic® stand.
