Evident/ Olympus BX53 Upright Biological Microscope
The BX53 is a semi-motorised microscope which is available with a range of options. This allows the user to set up the microscope for a number of observation methods. The BX53 uses high performance objectives with bright LED illumination to give sharp high resolution images which provide good colour accuracy; important for pathology and advanced research samples.
Large Field of View
The microscope is available with 26.5mm diameter eyepieces which give 31% more viewing area than a standard 22mm eyepiece. This makes it quicker and easier to view the material on the microscope slide.
High Quality Images with the High Performance X Line Objectives
The X Line objectives offer edge to edge flat images, high numerical apertures and excellent chromatic aberration correction to give images which have high resolution and excellent colour accuracy.
LED Illumination Designed for the Pathology Laboratory
The LED illuminator in the BX53 microscope has been designed to give accurate colour reproduction for pathology samples. This enables the user to correctly view the key purple, cyan and pink colours which are often seen in pathology applications

The operation of the BX53 can enhanced by the addition of some motorised components. These make the operation of the microscope quicker and easier. The options are-
