The compact GX Microscopes XDS400 inverted microscope plus a CoolLED pE-300 LED illumination system gives research groups, teaching labs and start-ups a powerful yet budget-friendly route into fluorescence imaging.
The XDS400 inverted microscope is has a modern compact design is particularly suited to busy cell and tissue culture laboratories. The microscope has a brightfield and fluorescence magnification range of 40x-400x with phase contrast from 100x-400x. The stage can accommodate flasks, petri dishes and microscope slides.
The XDS400 coupled with the CoolLED pE-300 fluorescence illuminator is a powerful yet cost effective system for routine and research fluorescence microscopy. The pE-300 illuminator has a wavelength range from 365-650nm, so covers a broad range of common fluorophores including-
- DAPI
- GFP
- FITC
- TRITC
- TxRed
- mCherry
- Cy5
The pE-300 uses low running cost and long life LED's for the fluorescence illumination. These turn on instantly, need no alignment and run for tens of thousands of hours.
