The system comprises a POLTEC-5 transmitted light polarising microscope with a high resolution display camera
The POLTEC-5 is a good quality university teaching level microscope. It offers strain free glass optics with a rotating circular stage. In addition, it has some high end features such as a Bertrand Lens and waveplates. The microscope stand is a modern compact ergonomic type with carrying handle and cable storage. It has 4x, 10x, 20x and 40x strain free objectives. An optional 60x strain free objective is also available.
The display camera has a built in 300 x 200 mm HDMI display screen with a 2MP camera. The camera has a high-spec Sony sensor which offers good resolution with excellent colour reproduction. Each camera includes embedded imaging software which is accessed via a wired controller and on-screen menus. Images and videos can be stored to the SD card slot.
This microscope with screen also includes a c-mount adapter to attach the camera to the microscope.
