GXM-JPL135 Polarising Microscope 40X-400X, Monocular, Transmitted Light

This polarising microscope is a teaching and amateur grade monocular, transmitted light polarising microscope suitable for observing polarisable materials such as geological thin sections.

Features of the GXM-JPL135 polarising microscope:-
  • Fantastic value for money
  • Lightweight and compact
  • Magnification range 40x-400x
  • Easy to set up and use
  • LED illumination which offers a long life time and low running costs
This microscope has a monocular head, a 10x eyepiece with measurement reticle, 3 achromatic objectives 4x, 10x, 40x , a rotating centerable stage, a retractable analyser and a rotatable polariser,  transmitted light illumination, condenser, and coarse/fine focus with adjustable tension.
The JPL-135 polarising microscope is equipped with a smooth, rotating, graduated stage and a set of polarisers that allow observation of all types of transmitted light polarised specimens such as thin sections of minerals, polymers, crystals and particulates.

This model, is part of GX Microscope’s new range of polarising microscopes, it is affordable by amateur microscopists, schools and colleges. It is equipped with a comfortable viewing monocular head. The analyser mounted in the head is retractable and the polariser is mounted over the collector near the lamp and is rotatable though 360°.  The microscope is also supplied with a rack and pinion mounted, adjustable condenser with an adjustable illumination source and coarse/fine focus knobs with limit stoppers and tension adjustment.
