Evident/ Olympus CKX53 Biological Inverted Microscope

The CKX53 inverted microscope is a compact and ergonomically designed microscope for the busy cell and tissue culture laboratory, giving simple and efficient cell sample observation.

The CKX53 has built in phase contrast for viewing live cells, and can accommodate a good range of cell culture containers.

Fast Cell Observation with the Integrated Phase Contrast (iPC) system

There is only one phase ring needed for the 4x, 10x, 20x and 40x objectives, making it quicker and easier to view the sample- no need to switch to a different phase ring when changing the objective.

Wide Sample View

The CKX53 has a 22mm field of view, giving a large area to view the sample.

Lightweight and Compact

This makes the microscope easy to accommodate in a crowded laboratory and easy to move when needed.

Ergonomic Design

The CKX53 has ergonomically designed head and controls which make it comfortable to use for extended periods. The controls- power switch, coarse and fine focus, and light path selector are ergonomically positioned for easy access and reduced user fatigue.

Inversion Contrast (IVC) Technique

This technique gives a narrower depth of field than phase contrast, giving clear 3-D images of the sample.

Fluorescence Option

The CKX53 can be supplied with a fluorescence illuminator and filters for fluorescence applications.

Shipping is by courier and takes typically 2-5 days but this can alter.
