The NexiusZoom Stereo Microscope ESD safe is for inspection and assembly applications. Electrostatic discharge (ESD) is the unwanted sudden flow of electricity between two electrically charged objects. ESD can cause a range of harmful effects as well as permanent damage to solid state electronics components. The NexiusZoom ESD safe stereo microscopes are coated with a special static dissipative paint eliminating harmful electrostatic discharges making the microscopes suitable for all static-sensitive environments
