Research Grade Inverted Fluorescence Microscope for Fluorescent and Phase Contrast Imaging  – The XDY-2LED by GX Microscopes

A laboratory workhorse, the XDY-2 provides an affordable, flexible solution for routine and research applications. Its long working distance objectives and condenser make this an ideal microscope for viewing samples in cell culture flasks, petri dishes  and microtitre plates. The LED lamp provides energy-efficient illumination for transmitted light brightfield and phase contrast applications.

This microscope includes a 100W Osram mercury vapour lamp and four fluorescence filter cubes: blue, green, ultraviolet and violet for fluorescent imaging, along with a binocular ergonomically designed head for comfortable viewing and a camera port for attaching a camera. The mercury lamp can easily be upgraded to LED with the addition of a Coolled illuminator – please enquire for details.
