Pond life, including a freshwater shrimp at 25x magnification taken using a Leica S8 Apo Stereomicroscope (this product has since been replaced with the Leica S9D) with a DIY darkfield setup using a ring light shining from beneath the sample. The camera is a Sony NEX5N body using a NEX to C mount adapter. With a little vignetting (handy for allowing tight cropping in the viewing circle) this is near parfocal just using the 1X lensless C mount camera adapter in the photo port.
