The L2003-DIGI digital materials microscope is a combined microscope and display camera. The sample image is displayed on the camera's screen allowing a number of people to view the image at the same time. This allows for collaboration and discussion on the sample. This is ideal for presentations, displays and educational use.
The L2003 materials microscope is a robust good quality traditional metallurgical microscope equipped with a trinocular head. This microscope includes a full set of high quality plan achromatic metallurgical objectives on a reversed objective turret. Specimens can placed on the mechanical stage with controls for XY stage and focus control.
The focussing tension can be adjusted and a focus lock protects the objectives from damage. Illumination is provided from an integral LED lamp with adjustable intensity, field and aperture diaphragms, polariser and set of Y, G, B and diffusion filters. This microscope is based on GX Microscopes L2000 series traditional microscope frame which provides a robust and a durable platform suitable for the most demanding of applications. Options include a range of camera adapters, digital cameras, image analysis software, additional objectives and eyepieces.
With a reversed quadruple nosepiece, holding 4 Plan Achromatic objectives offering a magnification range from 40X-600X, reflected light, trinocular head and mechanical stage, the L2003-DIGI digital materials microscope is popular for many applications from industrial, inspection tasks, through to researchers and educational establishments.
Included in the L2003-DIGI digital materials microscope is the GXCAM-HiChrome-HD High Resolution 1080P live display camera. The built-in display is a purpose designed imaging monitor with excellent resolution and a highly versatile mount. Each camera includes embedded imaging software and on-screen menus. Images and videos can be stored to a USB memory stick.
