The ultraBIO-1 is a popular teaching grade microscope, superbly robust and with a compact footprint. This is an excellent value microscope and is ideal for class teaching. It is designed for minimal user set up- simply put the slide in place, focus and view! The focus mechanism has robust metal components for long term durability even when used roughly. The microscope has LED illumination which offers a long life time and low running costs. The microscopes provide comfortable viewing and are simple and safe to operate.
This high quality microscope is equipped with a set of high contrast, glass, achromatic objectives, a wide-field eyepiece, a metal stand and a brass cogged focus mechanism to provide a clear and bright image of the subject under observation. The ultraBIO-1 has 3 achromatic objectives giving a magnification range from 40X to 400X. It has a clip stage and a simple condenser. The monocular eyepiece tube has an inclination of 45° and can be rotated through 360°, ideal for shared use.
These microscopes are widely used in schools, by amateur microscopists and by professionals in a number of fields such as veterinary sciences and breeding.
