Description

The L2003AHTG Materials Compound Microscope is a robust traditional metallurgical microscope by GX Microscopes, offering superb value for money as part of our ‘GX Value Range’. Its surprisingly good build and optical quality for a microscope at this price point makes it an attractive and popular choice for both industry and education.

This microscope is quick to set up, easy to use and has incident LED illumination which offers a long life time and low running costs.

The L2003AHTG Routine Materials Microscope is a reflected light compound microscope designed for users who are looking for a good quality and good value microscope on a lower budget. Offering very good image quality with a robust all metal body and quality glass optics, this microscope is ideal for inspection tasks and routine materials and metallurgical applications.

Features of the L2003AHTG Materials Microscope:

  • Equipped with a trinocular head, a microscope camera can easily be attached (via an adapter) to capture images and videos of the samples.
  • The microscope includes a set of four high quality plan achromatic metallurgical objectives on a reversed objective turret, offering a magnification range from 50X-600X.
  • Specimens can be positioned on the mechanical stage with controls for XY movement and coarse and fine focus. The focussing tension can be adjusted and a focus lock protects the objectives from damage.
  • Illumination is provided from an integral LED lamp with adjustable intensity and a polariser to minimise glare from reflective surfaces. Also included are field and aperture diaphragms, plus a set of yellow, green, blue and diffusion filters.
  • Options include a range of camera adapters, digital cameras, image analysis software, additional objectives and eyepieces.
