Description

The Leica optics ae designed to produce high resolution, high contrast images of the sample.Using a Greenough-based optical design that produces a flat image field (planar correction), optimal color transmission (chromatic correction) and allows more of the specimen to be in focus at once (depth of field).

The Leica M50 offers a magnification range of 6.3X – 40X.  For ease of use the M50 comes with a ergonomically designed 45 degree viewing angle, and adjustable upper and lower zoom magnification stops. The eyepieces are suitable for eyeglass wearers, furthermore the microscope is coated in Leica’s ‘ZeroStat’ polymers to protect agains electrostatic discharge (ESD).
